Send and Receive USD via SWIFT

Learn how to send and receive USD via SWIFT, including fees, processing times, and eligibility.

You can receive USD into your Vault by sending a SWIFT wire transfer from a supported non US bank account. Once received, your funds are converted to USDC and credited to your Vault.

You can also send USD via SWIFT from your Vault to supported bank accounts using the Send page.


Who can use SWIFT

  • Non US residents.

  • Any non US bank worldwide.

  • Currency must be sent in USD.

You may be required to complete additional verification before your USD virtual bank account is activated.

US banks are not supported. Even if you are not a US resident, a US based bank still cannot be used.


Processing time

  • Incoming SWIFT transfers(deposits) typically arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Once received, USD is converted to USDC and credited to your Vault within minutes.

  • Outgoing SWIFT transfers are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days, depending on the receiving bank.


Receive USD via SWIFT

Step 1 - Get your virtual bank details

  • Select SWIFT.
    (Path: Vault → Add Funds → Bank → SWIFT)

  • Accept the Terms and Conditions to generate your personal virtual bank account.

    💡 Please note: You may be asked to provide additional verification documents before your virtual account is activated. This is part of regulatory requirements.

Step 2 - Obtain your bank transfer details

After your virtual bank account has been approved, you'll receive your unique bank details, including:

  • Name

  • Bank name

  • Account number

  • SWIFT code

  • Country

  • Beneficiary address

Always enter these details exactly as displayed.

Sending an ACH or FedWire transfer using your SWIFT details will cause the transfer to be rejected.

Each field includes a copy button so you can easily copy and paste the information into your bank's wire transfer form.

Step 3 - Send the transfer

  • Log in to your bank and initiate a USD SWIFT transfer using the details provided.

  • Save your transfer confirmation or reference number in case you need to follow up.

  • Create a new recipient or select an existing recipient.

  • Review the transfer details and confirm your transaction.


Fees

SWIFT transfers include:

  • 20.00 USD fixed fee

  • 0.10% variable fee

If you send 1,000 USD:

  • 20.00 USD fixed fee

  • 1.00 USD variable fee

Total fees: 21.00 USD

  • You receive approximately 979.00 USDC.

  • Your own bank or intermediary banks may also charge outgoing or processing fees.

Third party transfers

If funds are sent from a bank account that is not in your name:

  • Under 500 USD → processed automatically

  • 500 USD and above → first transfer triggers a Request for Information email. You may be asked to confirm source of funds.

After the first successful review, future transfers from the same sender usually go through without additional review.


Frequently asked questions

How long do SWIFT transfers take?

  • Incoming SWIFT transfers typically arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Once received, your funds are converted to USDC and credited to your Vault within minutes.

  • Outgoing SWIFT transfers are typically completed within 1 to 3 business days, depending on the receiving bank.

Why did I receive less than what I sent?

Differences may be due to:

  • 20.00 USD fixed fee.

  • 0.10% variable fee.

  • Outgoing or intermediary bank wire fees charged by your bank.

Can I cancel a bank transfer after sent from my bank?

No. Once your bank sends the wire, it cannot be recalled.

If it fails, funds return to your bank in 3 to 5 business days.

Can I withdraw funds back to my bank via SWIFT?

Yes. Your USD virtual bank account supports both incoming and outgoing SWIFT transfers to supported bank accounts.

Why was my deposit refunded

Your transfer may be returned for one of the following reasons:

  • The transfer details were entered incorrectly.

  • The sending bank is not supported.

  • The name on the bank account does not match your account.

  • Additional verification was required but not completed.

  • Compliance or regulatory restrictions.

Incoming and outgoing SWIFT transfers are limited to two transfers per 24-hour period.

If a transfer is rejected, funds are typically returned to your bank within 3 to 5 business days.
