If you've sent unsupported assets (ETH, USDbC, cbBTC, USDT, DAI, etc.) to your ether.fi Vault address but the funds are not appearing in your Vault, please note that these assets are not currently supported.
As a result, the funds will not be displayed in your balance at this time, and a refund is not possible immediately. However, there are two potential resolutions that will allow you to access your funds in the future. Below, we outline the situation and the next steps.

Example: Why is my cbBTC not showing in My Vault?
The Vault does not yet support cbBTC as an asset. When unsupported assets are sent to your ether.fi Member Vault Address, they are not automatically processed or displayed in your vault balance. Your funds remain safe in the wallet address, but they cannot be accessed until one of the following solutions is implemented.
What Will Happen Next?
One of the following will occur to resolve this issue:
Open a support ticket and share details: Our CX agents will promptly assist in requesting the funds recovery for the sender address. If the unsupported funds were already sent through Scroll, once they're supported, they'll automatically show in your Vault.
Private Key Download Functionality: We plan to introduce a feature that allows users to download their private keys. Once available, you can use this feature to manually restore access to your stuck assets.
Based on current development, the recovery of funds is likely to happen first. So if it's a really important amount that you need with urgency, please reach out to us!
What Can I Do Now?
At this time, we recommend the following steps:
Confirm the Transaction: Verify that the ETH or USDT was sent to the correct Vault Address. You can check the transaction on the relevant blockchain explorer (e.g., Etherscan on Ethereum; Basescan on Base, ArbiScan for Arbitrum, Scrollscan for Scroll) to ensure the funds are in your wallet address.
Wait for Updates: Monitor for announcements from our team regarding the addition of your assets support or the private key download feature. We will notify users when these updates are available.
Avoid Sending Additional Unsupported Assets: Refrain from sending more unsupported assets, always double check Network and Asset, before sending.
How Will I Know When the Issue Is Resolved?
We will communicate updates through our official channels, including https://www.x.com/ether_fi and Discord #announcement or #Minor-announcements channels. Keep an eye on these for news about supported assets or the private key download feature.
Need Further Assistance?
If you have additional questions or need help confirming your transaction, please contact our support team at discord #support channel or help center at https://help.ether.fi. Provide your wallet address and transaction details for faster assistance.
Note: Do not share your private keys or sensitive information with anyone, as this could compromise the security of your funds.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the Vault's functionality.
