What Are Cross-Chain Withdrawals?
Cross-chain withdrawals enable you to send tokens from your Member Vault to an external wallet address on a compatible blockchain network, such as Base, Ethereum, or Scroll. By following the steps below, you can securely transfer your funds to another wallet.
Prerequisites
Before initiating a cross-chain withdrawal, ensure the following:
You have sufficient funds in your Member Vault for the withdrawal, including any applicable network fees.
The destination wallet address supports the selected token and network.
You have verified the destination wallet address to avoid errors, as transactions on the blockchain are irreversible.
The network you choose (e.g., Base, Ethereum, Scroll) is supported by both your Cash Vault and the destination wallet.
Follow these steps to withdraw funds from your Member Vault to an external wallet address:
Initiate the Withdrawal
Navigate to the Vault section of Cash app.
Click the "Send" button to start the withdrawal process.
2. Select "Wallet Address" option
From the available options, click "Wallet Address" to specify an external wallet for the transfer.
3. Choose a Supported Network
Click "Select Supported Network" to choose the blockchain network for your withdrawal.
Supported networks include:
Base
Ethereum
Scroll
Ensure the destination wallet supports the selected network to avoid loss of funds.
4. Select Token and Specify Amount
Click "Select Token" to choose the asset you wish to withdraw (e.g., weETH, USDC, or other supported tokens).
Input the amount you want to send. Double-check the amount to ensure accuracy.
Verify that you have sufficient balance, including any transaction fees for the selected network.
5. Enter the Destination Wallet Address
In the "Withdraw to" section, input the destination wallet address where you want to send the funds.
Important: Copy and paste the address directly from the destination wallet to avoid errors. Always double-check the address, as sending funds to an incorrect address may result in permanent loss.
Note: withdrawals may take up to 1 hour through Ethereum Mainnet or Base chains.
