What to do if I deposited tokens in the wrong chain?

Unrecoverable Assets sent to your Vault

If you've sent assets to your ether.fi Vault and can't recover them through our Token Recovery Tool, or the chain is not supported, the funds won't display in your balance and a refund is not possible immediately.

What Can I Do Now?

At this time, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Confirm the Transaction: Verify that the tokens were sent to the correct Vault Address, and that the chain is not supported. You can check the transaction on the relevant blockchain explorer.

  2. Open a support ticket: Contact support so we can create an internal case and help you recover the assets in the near future. Provide your wallet address and transaction details for faster assistance.

  3. Avoid sending additional unsupported assets: Refrain from sending more unsupported assets, always double check Network and Asset, before sending.

How Will I Know When the Issue Is Resolved?

Once we add support for the network you used, we’ll share updates through our official channels, including X and Discord (Announcements or Minor Announcements). If you already have an open chat with us, we’ll also notify you there if recovery becomes possible.
