Display Balances in Your Local Currency

View your account balances in your preferred local currency.

Your ether.fi Vault can display your balances using live exchange rates so you can see the approximate value in your local currency.

Supported Currencies

The following currencies are currently supported:

EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, CHF, CNY, HKD, SGD, KRW, BRL, INR, MXN, ZAR, TWD, THB, AED, PLN, SEK, NOK, DKK, NZD, TRY, CZK, ILS, UAH, RON, IDR, PHP, VND, MYR, COP, PKR, UYU, EGP, BYN, KYD, PEN, PYG, CRC, ARS, NAD, TZS


How to Change Your Display Currency

You can update your display currency in two ways:

Option 1. From the Vault Page

  1. Go to the Vault page.

  2. Click the currency label shown near your balance (for example USD).

  3. Select your preferred currency from the list.

Option 2. From Settings

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Open Display Currency.

  3. Choose your preferred currency from the list.


Default Currency

The default display currency is USD.

If you do not change this setting, balances will continue to appear in USD.


Frequently Asked Questions

Does changing my display currency change the currency used for transactions?

No. Changing the display currency only affects how values appear in the interface. Transactions and balances still operate in the underlying currencies supported by the platform, such as USDC or EURC.

Example
If your account holds 1,000 USDC and you select BRL (Brazilian Real) as your display currency, your balance may appear as ~R$5,000 BRL depending on the exchange rate. The asset in your account still remains 1,000 USDC.

Why does the displayed value change sometimes?

Displayed values use market exchange rates that refresh every 5 minutes, so the value shown in your selected currency may change slightly as rates update.

What FX rates are used for the display currency?

Exchange rates are provided by Open Exchange Rates: https://openexchangerates.org/
