Physical Cards - Everything You Need to Know

Everything you need to know about your physical Ether.fi Cash Card

The physical Cash Card is a plastic or metal card (varies by membership tier) linked to your ether.fi account. It works just like the virtual card but gives you the added convenience of using it in-store, at ATMs, and anywhere Visa is accepted globally.


How to Order Your Physical Card

  1. Open the ether.fi app (mobile or web)

  2. Navigate to the Cash tab

  3. Click "Add Card" or go directly here

  4. Select "Physical Cards"

  5. Add a nickname and spending limits (optional)

  6. Enter your mailing address and confirm your details

💡 Note: You must complete KYC verification before ordering your physical card.

Card Fee (Core Members)

  • Core memberships do not come with a free physical card. A $50 fee applies, which covers the card and shipping costs.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery Time

Cards arrive within 15+ business days. Pinnacle members get expedited shipping (1 to 3 business days).

Shipping Address

The card delivery address is not tied to your billing address. We will ask for the shipping information when ordering your card.

💡Important: Once you submit your shipping address and place your order for your physical card, the details cannot be changed. Please make sure all shipping details are correct before ordering.

Shipping Regions

We currently ship to most supported countries. If your country isn’t supported, the mailing option will not be available.

Once you order your physical card, you'll have the option to select your shipping address.

Activating Your Card

Once your card arrives:

  1. Open the ether.fi app.

  2. Go to your Cash Card section.

  3. Tap "Activate Physical Card" and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to confirm you have received the physical card.

  4. Set your pin by selecting Edit Card > Set PIN.


Using Your Physical Card

In-Store Purchases

Use your card like any regular Visa debit card.

Contactless Payments

Your card is tap-enabled for faster checkout.

ATM Withdrawals

Supported in most regions. Standard ATM and network fees may apply.

Online Purchases

Use either your physical or virtual card number.

💡 You can freeze or unfreeze your card anytime from the app. To cancel your card, please use the web.



Frequently asked questions

Can I still use my virtual card after activating the physical one?

Yes! Both cards remain active and are linked to the same account balance.

What if my card is lost or stolen?

You can freeze or cancel it immediately in the app. You can also order a replacement.

Are there any fees?

Cards may incur fees depending on your membership tier:

Can I add my physical card to my mobile wallet?

Yes! You can add your physical card to Apple/Google Pay wallets, just like your virtual card.
