How the referral program works
You can invite friends to ether.fi using your unique referral code or link.
When someone signs up using your referral and begins spending with their Cash card, you earn referral cashback based on their eligible spending.
Referral reward:
• 1% of your referral’s card spending
• Earned for 12 months from their signup date
• Maximum reward: $1,000 per month
Referral rewards are automatically credited when your referral completes eligible card transactions.
Who can participate
The referral program is currently available for personal accounts only.
Business and corporate accounts are not eligible to participate.

Once your friend signs up using your referral and begins using their card, you will start earning referral rewards.
How referral cashback works
When your referral makes eligible purchases using their Cash card, you receive:
• 1% of their spending as referral cashback
• Rewards for 12 months after they join
• Up to $1,000 per month in referral rewards
Referral cashback is automatically credited to your Vault.
What is cashback debt and does it affect referral rewards?
Cashback debt happens when a purchase made by a referrer is later refunded or reversed.
In that case, the system removes the previously issued cashback to keep rewards accurate.
If cashback debt exists, new cashback or referral rewards may first be used to offset that balance. Once it is cleared, rewards continue normally.

• ether.fi may adjust, withhold, or revoke rewards in cases of abuse or policy violations

• Peer-to-peer transfers
• Currency exchange services
• Gift cards or stored value cards
• Financial services or investment transactions
• Gambling transactions

• The transaction has been refunded
• The transaction is later determined to be ineligible for cashback
Referral cashback is credited after eligible transactions settle, which may take a short time after the purchase.
